Environmental Charge


Show me a man of greatness, I will tell you a few things he must have been committing his life with, on the path of greatness

And don't forget also, to show me a man whose life is daily ordered with failure, I will tell you, few things he must have been committing his life with

When it was explicitly stated in the scripture that iron sharpens iron

As simple as it sounds, it means that it is only iron that can sharpen themselves

It wouldn't be a wrong statement, to say that, it is practically impossible for a piece of wood to sharpen iron

These irons could as well be called potentials

It is practically impossible for your potentials to be discovered if you surround yourself with people who are not of the same potentials with you

Emphasis needs to be made on this, there is a charge that is consciously and unconsciously derived in our environment and definitely yes, they rather push us to our goals or slow us down on the path of success


The question is, who do you associate yourself with?

There is an adage, that states, your association determines your destination in life

That adage is a proven one over time, you can't desire to be a footballer and all you do, is to associate yourself with a born singer

Am sorry to say, if that is what you are committed to,  you might not get to your destination faster

Environment is not referred to as the physical structure of a house, in this context

Environment is referred to as the totality of people living in a place or geographical location

The question is, who do you really associate yourself with? It is either they charge you into the fulfillment of your dreams or they gradually discharge your mind, body, and soul from those beautiful dreams

Environment can serve as threats and weaknesses to your baby's dreams or as strengths and opportunities to nurture those dreams into their full stature

Only God knows the number of dreams that should have been nurtured into their statute but it is sad to say, they had been murdered on their path to greatness

Environment could either distract you from what you are called into or attract you to greater opportunities embedded inside your calling

Have you seen a lion in the jungle in a close relationship with goats?

Maybe you have seen an eagle whose destiny is attached to flying, to come down gisting with a cockroach?

This calls for repositioning of our feet, placing them on the right path

If truly we all desire for success, there is every reason to shift our cursor to the right file cos if not we will just be working on the wrong file

If you truly want greatness, there is a need to log into the realities of these facts

Unplug yourself from people who can't help your dreams, they will either drain you or slow you down

Associate yourself with people of like minds

This can only work for you if you truly know your area of skills or talents, if you don't, that means you need to discover yourself

Show me a great leader and I will tell you, he must have committed his life into reading

Plug yourself with lovers of books, not with lovers of funny posts, chats and all that

They can only laugh their ass out, they are far from leading the world

Leaders are great readers

You become what you do, over time, in other words, you are what you read

The world is not looking for repetition, the world is seriously panting for inventions, creativities, and delivery of values for the world to harness and utilize

One of the sure ways, to get them is through committed and consistent reading

Fall in love with people who motivate you to do more and run away from people who give you countless reasons to give up(threats and weaknesses

Get ready to fly, if you can key into these realities of life
