DEFINITION OF A TRUE HERO

I actually got the gun that was loaded with bullets set to be fired, even the uniform looks exactly like that of a soldier and I begin to feel like a soldier, as a matter of fact, people start calling me a hero but the truth of the matter is that a hero is not measured through the possession of physical weapons but rather from a heart that is pure and selfless.

The qualification of a true hero is not measured in size, height, complexion, age, and wears, it is basically measured through character. The striking feature is the possession of a good character, a true hero is not measured by body fitness like 6 packs, broad chest and all sort of that.

👉 A true hero is measured through a good character, all these mentioned features would be for nothing without having a pure heart and a selfless attitude to humanity.

👉A true hero is someone who is purely selfless in service, that is just it. I have heard of a man who offers his wife a broad umbrella when the falling of the rain is at the highest volume even at the point of quarreling and he was seen closer to his wife while he was still being beaten by the rain and his wife was much more cover by the umbrella handed to her by her husband.

 I have heard of a young lady who was raped by her neighbor some years ago and the fate of such man was later placed in the hands of the woman he raped after so many years, he was charged for robbery and brought to the court where his fate would be finally decided.

As fate, we have it, the destiny of the heartless neighbor who raped her many years ago was placed in the hands of the woman who happened to be the current judge that would determine the continuity of his life or his exit.

Guess what she did, she converted his sentence to seven years imprisonment, you would agree with me that she has the legal power to sentence him for life or declare him to death by hanging or electrocuted but she chose not to do so, what would you do if you were the one?

What would you do when you have a gun firmly held to your hands and a legal uniform on your body and the fate of a man who murdered your loved ones were placed right before your very eyes with a silent pistol in your hands?

What would you do when you are on the verge of an interview exercise that can change your whole life and will commence in a few minutes, on your way, you are faced with a trial of saving a young lonely girl crying profusely inside the rain and cried out for your help?

👉 A true hero is not the one who wins all battles but he is the one who feels happy each time he looks at the scars that are left on his skin on the battlefield.

👉A true hero is the one who doesn't mind losing his life in the process of doing what is right.

👉 A true hero is ever selfless in deeds, is ready to go "the extra mile" in achieving his set goals and objectives.

👉A true hero is the one who doesn't mind sacrificing his tears in order to see someone smiling.

👉A true hero is someone who wouldn't mind being laced with scars on the battlefield in an attempt of saving lives.

👉A true hero doesn't necessarily need to possess the skills of a soldier, all he needs to possess is a heart that is pure.

👉A true hero doesn't rejoice in the demise of his enemies, he rather prays for them to have a change of heart.

👉A true hero is a peacemaker, not a war starter.

👉A true hero is a king who is ready to go to the extremity and even doesn't mind losing his golden crown in saving his people.

👉A true hero is someone who rejoices in the victories of others.

The definition of a hero that is true is subjected to the pureness of the heart in deeds and in words. A selfless service that is ever ready to be delivered for the benefits of humanity.

👉A true hero is the one whose memories live forever in the hearts of men because of his good deeds.

So, I stand here turning my whole body to you and confidently announce to you that, you don't have to be a soldier, a fighter or a boxer, all that is required of you is to possess a good heart. 

Be a true hero through the redemption of your mind and be a better one anywhere you find yourself.
