UNFAIR SIDE OF LIFE



Life they said, it is never unfair to all, it all depends on how you roll your ball inside the court of life said by unknown scholars.

What about some of us, that have really mastered how to roll our balls and master how to hit the right rock for water to spring out?

I wouldn't be part of the old damn school of thought that says, life is not unfair, even though I believe things can still get better as time passes by.

What my eyes have seen, what my ears have heard and what my body has felt are just too much for me to stomach

Why would I say, life is not unfair to my friend, Gbenga?

A brilliant friend of mine, who bagged out first-class and all his effort to get a job, after searching for a number of years, all proved abortive and there we have a guy who just finished schooling and did not even feel the heat of unemployment

He just tossed dice, and he got double six

He got himself a good job in shell, through the power of connection and he is still there ruling rocking like a superstar

Would I still say, Life is fair to Richard?

Richard, who thought he has found his soul mate after they have courted for solid 5 years

Imagine Benson just surfaced from nowhere and fried the eggs, Richard has been keeping and nurturing for years through the power of money

Angelina got married to Benson and the family is blessed with triplet

Would you tell me, life is fair to Richard, who is still very much single, struggling to arrange the broken pieces of his life together?


Of course, it will be hard for many ladies out there to be faithful to a guy, who can hardly give them #200 as recharge cards and there is a guy somewhere, who is even begging them to manage #50,000 as pocket money

Is life really fair? When you suddenly become a stranger to someone you wouldn't wish to part ways with

And there are people who sit up there, stealing billions of Naira, robbing us, through the power of their pens

Are they not "the real thieves"?

The number of unemployed graduates out there are higher than the number of companies in Nigeria
