HAUNTED MEMORY

I thought the moment she took a walk away, everything we shared together had gone away with her...

Of course, I wasn't happy to journey all alone but I was left with no choice

Then why do I still have her memories lingering in my heart?...

As I pressed on in life, the memory of what we shared together keeps splashing sound...

I tried fighting it and decided to make my way to bed, guess what, it never stopped, it keeps coming...

I thought by closing my eyes, it would shut the door of the memories from entering the dreamland with me to my surprise, the memory broke in, without any force...

I was with my friends, we sat down gisting, all of a sudden, I heard a dulcet voice that sounds exactly as that of Jane

I halted our conversation and took a walkout, to verify the truthfulness of my what I heard, sad to say, I saw no one

Maybe I am going crazy, I can't answer that...

There I was on my bed, I was remembering all that we shared like it happened yesterday...

Memories are stronger than what could be fought by putting on gloves...

It is a psychological thing...

Good or bad memories, they are still sleeping inside of us and guess what, they never died...

Of course, bad memories can overcome good memories but the reality is, they never died

Just like Read-only memory of any device...

Then how can we fight those ugly memories that will sometimes bump in, without an invitation?

Ugly memory weakens the soul, it halts the soul from traveling into the future

Good memories are good for the bodies, in fact, it leads to a positive mental development while a bad memory does the opposite

How can we fight against bad memories from popping up continuously?

1. Look for one thing that sure makes you happy

2.Practice mindfulness of thoughts

3. Play with people that make you happy and refrain from sad people

4. Be happy with yourself, sometimes look at yourself in the mirror and glow a beautiful smile

5. Don't take prayer out, cos some memories could be spiritual, though not all

6. Go to a new city, put away anything or object that can connect you with the memory

7. Forgive yourself and forgive the person

8. Trust no one and hate no one

9. If it persists, seek counsel
