I am talking to you; I know It is practically impossible for me to accurately read your mind because I am not God

But can you please look me straight in the eyes and tell me you are not hurt inside?

I know your trick; you hide your pain inside the smile you glow

I know your gimmick; you hide your tears inside your laughter

Bravo! You are indeed a symbol of steel

You bleed pain but still managed to smile: even though the smile you glow is not a sign of comfort but a sign of belief

You successfully crafted means and covered your scars under the fancy power of your make-up

I couldn't believe you would end up drowned inside the pool of heartbreak

I thought that was the end; still, you survived it,you are a strong woman

You square up your shoulders with full confidence as you stepped on every thorn laced on your way to pull you down

Now! You are tired...

At this very point! You are fed up

Of course, you have been proving strong for long

Of course you have fought the beast and won

Of course , you have tirelessly knocked the door of fortune

Of course, the weights you shouldered were equal to that of a man

Of course, you are not lazy

It is true that just few could see your sweat hidden by the rain

It is true that just few could see your tears shed in the rain

Now you feel like slaughtering your throat from your neck

You just couldn't stop feeling the pain, the pain birthed through the dagger dished out into your chest

You did work for a better future as promised by destiny

You were tired and to worsen it, you were not shown love by the people you love

You were rejected by the people you can't stop thinking of

You were neglected in the midst of failure and hardship

I know of the scars on your skin

I know of the tears in your eyes

I know of the pain on your chest

I know of the injuries on your legs

But please don't die!

Cos, you don't deserve to die

You deserve to live the future drawn on your board of destiny

You deserve to have a brightened smile like that of the glowing sun

You deserve comfort not crises

You deserve gain not pain

You deserve honor not terror

You deserve fame not lame

You deserve favor not labor

You deserve to be in peace not to be in pieces

But if you die…

You can't claim all of your desires

Before you take this action;

What of those countries you desire to visit?

What of those mansions you wish to build and live?

What of those legacies you crave to leave behind?

What of the future you wanted to build for your children?

What of those liberating promises you once made for your generation?

You had once said you'll take your generation out of the shackles of poverty

Have you suddenly forgotten how beautiful your dreams are?

Have you suddenly forgotten? The old axiom which says; “when there is life, there is hope”

So I beseech you, not to give up!

You'll get there, brace up and squarely face your goals as you'd never been hurt

The only force that can stop those dreams from turning into reality...

The only force that can forestall the beauty of your future is DEATH

Please,don't die but live on to have those dreams of yours turning into reality
