Uncommon Grace
Ewuro is bitter, so I didn't expect her to stay with me; so she had no choice than to pack her things and left me trembling for greener pasture in the arms of my fate
Yoruba says Adun lo gbeyin “ewuro” but not all ewuro ends up with sweetness
Each time I think about my life, I always have God to thank. It's so convincing that I am living under God's uncommon grace
When I was smacked down by life and it looked impossible to rise.
It did look impossible for Lazarus to rise from the dead...
So it was for me, to rise again— believing a dead bone will have a life to talk about; the chance looked very slim
Beholding with my eyes, the sparkling of stars on the faded surface of the sky of my destiny...
Then God took me up through his uncommon Grace
I ride on the wheel of his uncommon Grace without sustaining any life injury…
When men said it was over; that was when God had not even started...
The valley of the shadow of death has now turned to my favorite tourist center
My pain is now turning to my gain
My sweat is now turning to my sweetness
Every bridge I had once crossed in fear, is now being crossed with so much pride and comfort
The lily hearted has now become the lion-hearted
The rejected stone has now become the chief-corner stone
The confused Jacob has now become ruling Israel
The coward Peter has now become the bravest of all
The barren Sarah has now become the mother of all nations
They rejected Joseph ended up as the honored Joseph
It's more than ordinary, it is nothing short of uncommon Grace!
Another grace that is not common is to sleep last night and still wakes to see morning.
Behind a beautiful morning, there were a lot of untold secrets in the midnite
So many good nights couldn't witness good mornings
And so many good mornings couldn't witness good afternoons ...
Uncommon Grace
So many beautiful destinies are there lying lifelessly in the grave
So many lives that spoke volume if mentioned couldn't bribe death with their assets— they are all lying lifelessly in the grave
So many glories couldn't reach their full height before death took them without knocking
Finally, if you are able to read this write-up, your life is under the governance of uncommon grace
If you can see beyond the nose, you will have this to say— my life is riding on the wheel of God's uncommon grace
Be grateful!
