IF MEN WERE GOD

If men were God, I stand here wondering what could have been the fate of the whole world?

Said by General Nelson Okadigbo who had once been a soldier. 

After his retirement, he was divinely called into ministry where he was ordained as a deacon in a new generation church.

He said, having been to many parts of the world, fighting all kinds of battles, where enemies who served as threats to their country, were being slaughtered down with different kind of classical and dangerous weapons.

Throughout his experiences, he came up with a write-up and started with a general question, if men were God, what could have been the fate of the world?

Possibly the world would have been shut down by now, oxygen that is being given freely would have been placed under the negotiation of price.

Promises made that went unfulfilled would have sent many to their early grave.

I do serve a living God whose promises have never failed, even once but I have men whose promises made have birthed failure and calamity over the course of time.

The daily existence of men would have been subjected under the approval of the greedy, selfish and heartless leaders.

The rich possibly would have been succeeded in adding to their destined lives through their resources and the poor would have been long dead or gone.

The lives of many men would have returned to their early grave unfulfilled.

The rich would have inherited the world and possibly pass it on to their generations.

The evil of this world would have gone beyond control and the rich would have become giant monsters.

Men can make promises and will not fulfill it but I have a faithful and loving God who stands by his words, he even said, he lifts his words more than his name.

Can you begin to imagine how evil men would have become if they were being given the full authority to act as God?.

I can't forget how someone I passionately loved changed so quickly when she saw that the grass was greener on the other side, imagine If she is God, I would have been instantly sent to the realm of the dead.

I really can't stop imagining how people ended a long time relationship all in the name of money, with excuses that were not there at the beginning of the relationship.

I have a God who is ever faithful, the one whose data is unlimited and no network failure.

If the power of this world is fully vested in the hands of men, hey, ruins would have mercilessly raped the destinies of men.

Men would be calling for Mercy that would not be provided because men have become God.

Can you even imagine ,now that men have not turned to supernatural beings?.

Just imagine how men will be suffering and will be placed in a gathering of nonentity?.

The world is being ruled by the majority and the minority could only have access to little crumbs that drop from the tables of Majority.

Nothing would have been dropped on the tables if men have fully matured into God.

The world could have possibly turned into ashes.

The beasts silently dwelling inside the hearts of men would have grown into full maturity and activated for the destruction of humankind.

There possibly wouldn't have been hellfire, the world itself would have expressly given birth to raw hellfire itself.

Truly we have witches, wizards and the terrestrial powers of this world, just imagine if men have matured or had power as God, can you picture what could have happened...

I saw death devouring on men of greatness and send them into the world unknown.

Possibly many would have wished not coming to the world, maybe possibly hang in between heavens and the earth.

Many wouldn't have wished for existence in the first place.

Existence would have been a scary thing than death itself.

Because there is no death without existence.

This is a free expression of how the world could have become if the heartless, wicked and greedy people of this world have access to the full power of God…

The world could have possibly ended before it started...
